1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are stored on your device. We use them for the functioning of the service, not for advertising purposes.

2. Functional cookies (necessary)

Session cookies (hmc_chat_sid / hmc_admin_sid): keep you logged in or your chat session active. Retention period: session up to max. 24 hours.

hmc_device_id: limited recognition to prevent abuse and spam in guest chats. Retention period: 7 days.

Language preference: stored in localStorage (hmc_ui_lang_v1) and via ?lang= in the URL — no language cookie.

hmc_cookie_consent: remembers that you have seen the cookie notification. Retention period: 1 year.

hmc_chat_api: technical access to the chat API during use. Retention period: 24 hours.

3.Local storage (PWA)

If you install the app, the installation status may be stored locally in your browser. This does not contain any personal data.

4. No tracking cookies

We do not place cookies for advertisements, social media, or analytics. For typography and flags, your browser may make requests to Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) and jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). The corporate landing page may be loaded by Tailwind CSS via CDN. These parties may process technical logs; we do not use tracking pixels.

5. Manage cookies

You can delete cookies via your browser settings. Some functions (login, chat) may then no longer work.
