1. Definitions

Service: the Nova Chat platform including website, chat, translation, and management environment.

User: anyone with an account. Guest: a visitor who chats via QR code without an account.

2. Use of the service

You use the service lawfully and do not share unlawful, offensive, or discriminatory content.

Guests are informed that chat messages are processed temporarily and deleted after closing, and that translation may be handled by external services.

Organizations are responsible for informing their visitors and setting up appropriate privacy statements.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Trial subscriptions and paid plans are described on the website.

Payments are processed via Mollie. Cancellation is possible according to the conditions stated on the website for each plan.

4. Availability and liability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Translations are automatically generated and may contain errors.

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the relevant month, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

5. Intellectual property

Software, branding, and documentation remain the property of Nova Chat. Chat content remains the property of the user; you grant us a limited license to process content for translation and delivery.

7. Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
